Lock It Link is a series of WMS video slots from Light & Wonder (the company formerly called Scientific Games) built around a hold-and-respin bonus: heart symbols link and lock in place, each new one resets your spins, and the hearts can carry credit prizes, fixed bonuses or progressive jackpots. The first two games were Lock It Link Diamonds and Lock It Link Night Life.

How Lock It Link plays
The base game is a standard 5-reel game. Lock It Link Diamonds uses the four card suits as its low symbols, with diamonds paying more, while Night Life uses jacks through aces plus night-out symbols such as champagne and sports cars. On its own, the base game plays like many other slot machines; the reason people seek it out is the Lock It Link bonus.
The Lock It Link bonus
The Lock It Link feature starts when three heart symbols land in a row on the same horizontal line. The linked hearts lock in place and you get three spins. Each new heart that lands next to your linked group reveals its prize, joins the group, raises the values of the other linked hearts and resets your spins to three. Most hearts show a credit amount; others show one of two fixed bonuses or one of the two progressive jackpots, the Major and the Grand. The feature ends when you run out of spins or fill the whole screen with hearts, and everything you collected is paid out.
Jackpots
The Major and Grand are progressive jackpots won when a heart showing their name joins your linked group. Jackpot amounts and the bet needed vary from casino to casino, so check the help screen on the machine you are playing.
Can you play Lock It Link online?
Online versions of some Lock It Link titles exist, and they can play differently from the casino machines. If you want to play for real money, use one of the online casinos licensed in your state and check its game lobby. Offshore sites are not licensed by US state regulators.
