Wild Fury Jackpots Slot Review

Wild Fury Jackpots slot review: IGT's 5-reel, 10-line game with 94.81% RTP online, a wild-counting free games bonus and five jackpots up to 2,000x.

Wild Fury Jackpots is an IGT slot with 5 reels, 10 paylines and a return to player of 94.81% in its online version. Its one big feature is a free games bonus where every wild you land is counted, and the number of wilds collected decides which of five jackpots you win.

The game uses a fire and ice look: blue and gold dragons, jeweled card suits and 7s on a dark background. It has been available online since December 2018 and plays on desktop and mobile.

Symbols and base game pays

Wins pay left to right on a payline, starting from the first reel, and need at least three matching symbols. Pays are multiples of the line stake:

  • Jeweled card suits and diamonds: 5x, 10x or 30x for three, four or five of a kind.
  • Blue and gold dragons: up to 60x.
  • 7s: up to 100x.
  • Wild: substitutes for regular symbols and pays 40x, 125x or 500x on its own.

The base game is fairly plain. Most of the game’s value sits in the free games, which is typical of jackpot-style slots.

Free games bonus

The bonus starts when three fire and ice trigger symbols land on reels two, three and four. A wheel then awards 10, 15 or 20 free games. During the feature:

  • +1 Spin symbols add free games to the total.
  • Extra wilds are added to the reels, and every wild that lands is collected in a meter that starts at zero.
  • Level Up symbols appear only on the middle reel. Single and double Level Up symbols raise the value of the jackpots while the bonus runs. Wilds cannot stand in for them.

How the jackpots are won

When the free games end, the wild meter decides your jackpot. Each jackpot has a starting value that Level Up symbols can raise:

Wilds collected Jackpot starting value
0 to 19 80x the stake
20 to 39 125x
40 to 64 200x
65 to 99 500x
100 or more 2,000x

Reaching 100 wilds needs a long bonus with plenty of +1 Spin symbols, so most bonuses land in the lower tiers. The length of the feature varies a lot from one trigger to the next.

Is Wild Fury Jackpots worth playing?

The wild-counting bonus is easy to follow and gives every free spin something to watch for, since each wild moves you closer to the next jackpot. The downside is the return: 94.81% is below the roughly 96% many newer online slots offer, so expect to lose a little faster over time. On a casino floor, the payback of any machine is set by the casino within the limits its regulator allows and is not posted on the machine.

Pros

  • Simple 10-line game with one clear feature.
  • Five jackpot tiers, with a top prize starting at 2,000x the stake.
  • Level Up symbols can raise every jackpot during a single bonus.

Cons

  • 94.81% RTP online is on the low side.
  • The top tier needs 100 wilds, which few bonuses reach.
  • The base game offers little between bonuses.
