Downtown Grand Parking Fee 2023 & Valet
With a newer hotel tower, affordable rooms and a fun vibe, the Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is somewhat of an underappreciated gem among hotels around Fremont Street.
And while a lot of Las Vegas hotels are charging for parking, the Downtown Grand offers free parking for hotel guests. Non hotel guests are charged however (more on that below).
At the Downtown Grand, you actually park across the street from the resort, at a five level parking garage that has room for over 450 vehicles.
The block-long garage on E. Ogden Avenue (just south of the casino/hotel), stretches all the way from 3rd Street to 4th Street. It’s not necessarily the cleanest garage in all of Las Vegas, and there is only one elevator.
Downtown Grand Parking Fee
Registered hotel guests receive free self-parking. All others are charged the following, which vary on the day:
Monday – Thursday | |
0 – 2 Hours | $10 |
2 – 4 Hours | $13 |
4 – 8 Hours | $15 |
8 – 24 hours | $18 |
Friday – Sunday | |
All Day (no hourly rate) | Flat $20 fee |
Upon entering the garage, you’ll receive a ticket at the gate. Hotel guests should present this at the front desk at check-in. Either way, be sure to keep this ticket, as a sign indicates there is a $20 lost ticket fee.
Free Parking at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas?
In addition to hotel guests, those who earn at least 500 points in the casino, or who spend at least $25 at the Triple George Grill can have their self-parking ticket validated. Be sure to ask your server about this when paying.
Downtown Grand Las Vegas Valet Parking Fee
As part of the new Gallery hotel tower, the Downtown Grand updated their valet drop-off area. Current rates for valet parking at the Downtown Grand are as follows:
Hotel Guests | $20 per day |
Visitors | $25 per day |
These fees do not include the valet tip of course. You can receive free valet parking by spending at last $25 at the Triple George Grill or by earning 500 points on your Downtown Grand’s player’s card.
Also, these prices may increase during busy periods. Recently, valet parking for holiday/special event pricing has cost $45.
Valet services may not be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
There are two entrances into the valet parking area. One is off of 4th Street, the one-way street on the resort’s eastern border. You’ll see signage on the left.
The other valet entrance is on the north side of the resort, off of Stewart Avenue.

(The black “P” shows you the entrance into the parking garage. The brown star shows you the two valet parking entrances).
Access into the garage is off of E. Ogden Avenue. There is just one in/out access point for the self-parking garage. From there you’ll take stairs or the elevator down to the ground level, then wall across E. Ogden over to the hotel/casino.
More about Parking at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino
- Perhaps the main drawback to the Downtown Grand, (in particular its parking situation), is that this part of Las Vegas seems to have a significant homeless population, and the sight of vagrants loitering in the area is not unusual.
While the hotel and casino itself is clean and contemporary, sites like TripAdvisor are full of poor reviews of this garage, with many saying they felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness and people hanging around the garage and elevator.
For their part the Downtown Grand says the garage is manned 24 hours a day by security.
- Clearance into the parking garage is seven feet.
- Clearance into the valet parking area however, is 12 feet.
- The parking sits directly across the street from the Gallery Tower. The newest of the Downtown Grand’s three hotel towers, the 495 room addition opened in September 2020.
