Golden Nugget Atlantic City Parking Fee & Valet 2023
Situated in Atlantic City’s marina district, the 26 story Golden Nugget isn’t the busiest casino in town (it typically ranks close to last with Bally’s in terms of monthly gaming revenue), however it remains a popular, affordable option for those who don’t mind staying off the boardwalk.

Originally designed as a Hilton when built in 1985, the Golden Nugget AC has gone through different themes and owners, including former President Trump. However the resort is currently owned by Laundry’s, who own several restaurant chains, along with the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, among others.
The Golden Nugget AC boasts 716 rooms, an 80,000 square foot casinos, eight restaurants, bars, showrooms, and a 630-slip marina (the only casino with a marina in Atlantic City).
And unlike most of the casinos in AC, it offers free parking! It’s also the only casino to offer parking for boats. (More on that below).
Golden Nugget AC Parking Rates
Self-parking | Free |
This applies to everyone, from hotel guests, to those just seeing a show in the Grand Ballroom, to gamblers and everyone else. Large billboards out in front of the resort advertise, “Free Self Park. All Day. Every Day.”
Since it’s a little away from the busy action on the Boardwalk, (it’s 1.8 miles from the Steel Pier), the Golden Nugget tries to attract customers by offering this free parking amenity.
And there’s typically plenty of self-parking available, compliments of the large 9-story parking garage located on the northeast end of the property. However it’s not necessarily the shortest walk you’ll have to the hotel from desk.
Directions to Self-Parking Garage
You get to the Golden Nugget AC parking garage via Huron Avenue, which is the main street that leads up to the resort. After passing the value entrance, the marina will be on your right. A few feet in front of you, you’ll see the large, clearly-marked, “PARKING” sign and arrow attached to the casino on the left.
After taking a left, its just a little way to the garage entrance, also on your left.
Golden Nugget Atlantic City Valet Parking Fee
Unlike with self-parking, there is a charge to use the valet parking services here at the Golden Nugget. Current valet fees (not including tips) are as follows:
Monday – Thursday | $10 |
Friday – Sunday | $15 |
Again, these apply equally to hotel guests and non-guests alike. Also, they can increase during the air show or other busy weekends.
Directions to Golden Nugget AC Valet Parking
As with self-parking, you’ll take Huron Avenue, which bisects the resort and Chart House Restaurant/Marina.

After passing under the pedestrian walkway overhead, you’ll take an immediate left into the valet area. This is pretty clearly marked and easy to find.
