FireLake Casino Shawnee is an open, slot-focused casino on Hardesty Road in Shawnee, Oklahoma, advertising more than 480 gaming machines, including video poker, and a high-limit slots room. Its strongest appeal is a straightforward local gambling outing, with available guest comments repeatedly praising the newer facility’s cleanliness and friendly staff. Its broader destination appeal is less clear, and opinions differ on the game selection. I would put it on the list for casual slot players, not build an entire resort vacation around it.

What kind of casino is FireLake?
Think local gaming stop rather than an all-day resort itinerary. FireLake’s current description emphasizes machines and a separate high-limit slots room. Come because you enjoy that kind of gambling, rather than expecting an extensive collection of restaurants and non-gambling attractions.
There is a naming trap worth avoiding: FireLake Casino on Hardesty Road and Grand Casino Hotel & Resort are separate destinations. Check the exact property name and address when looking at reservations, entertainment listings, or customer reviews.
For a broader comparison, see our guide to Oklahoma casinos.
Slots, video poker, and high-limit gaming
The official New FireLake casino page advertises more than 480 reel, video reel, and video poker games, along with jackpots, progressives, and a high-limit slots room. That is a combined machine inventory, not 480 slots plus additional video poker machines.
I would pay more attention to the games and wagers you enjoy than to the headline count. Some visitors praise the variety, while others dislike the newer selection or miss machines from the former location. A newer building does not automatically mean your favorite game made the move.
Video poker is advertised, but specific games, denominations, and pay tables are not listed in the available property information. If it is your main reason to visit, call first, then read the machine’s pay table before playing.
The high-limit slots room is also advertised, but specific minimum wagers are not. Check the total bet displayed on any machine: a low denomination is not necessarily a low-cost spin.
Table games and bingo: call before making a special trip
Visit Shawnee’s listing names blackjack, Three-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Flop Poker, and eight weekly bingo sessions. However, its address and machine count differ from the New FireLake information. I would treat those listings as a reason to ask questions, not as a current operating schedule.
Before traveling specifically for tables or bingo, confirm the location, schedule, and entry costs. For tables, ask about minimum wagers and any additional per-hand charge. For bingo, ask about the complete entry package rather than just a starting price.
Poker room and sportsbook
FireLake Casino has no dedicated player-versus-player poker room and no on-property retail sportsbook. Its video poker machines are not a cash poker room where customers play against one another.
Guest reviews: praise and complaints
Cleanliness, a modern appearance, and friendly service recur in the available comments about the newer casino. Selected accounts from late 2025 and the first half of 2026 describe a welcoming place for a casual outing. These are individual visitor reports, not a representative survey.
Size and game selection draw mixed responses. One visitor found the newer facility smaller than expected while still considering it an upgrade. Some praise the variety; others miss the former lineup. For me, that makes FireLake a better prospect for someone happy to browse than for someone driving specifically to find one cabinet.
Reported gambling value varies sharply, too. Some guests describe extended play on a modest budget, while others report rapid losses. Neither establishes a payout rate. I would not choose a casino because a stranger won there, or call its machines “tight” because another stranger lost.
Dining, entertainment, and nearby lodging
FireLake Bistro and refreshments
The official dining page lists FireLake Bistro as open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., serving breakfast and dinner menus. Keep those kitchen hours separate from casino hours when planning a late visit.
Some visitors speak positively about the food. A January 2026 account also mentions complimentary drinks and ice cream, but treat that as a reported perk, not a guaranteed benefit or a promise of free alcohol.
I would plan dining as a convenient break rather than the centerpiece of the trip. Confirm kitchen hours before arriving late, and check the venue and date for any entertainment you intend to attend rather than assuming live music is part of every visit.
Planning an overnight stay
Confirm lodging arrangements before booking. Do not assume a room advertised under a similar FireLake or Grand Casino name is attached to this gaming floor. Check the reservation address and arrange transportation if your room is elsewhere.
One nearby option is FireLake Hotel at 41050 Hardesty Road. Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s August 4, 2025, opening report describes a 126-room hotel there. Keep its address distinct from the casino’s when making plans.
Address, hours, and practical visit advice
Current review directories list 41170 Hardesty Road, Shawnee, OK 74801, while the tourism listing gives 41207 Hardesty Road. Guest accounts describe a newer location across the road from the former casino. If navigation results disagree, call (405) 878-4862 to confirm the entrance.
A third-party directory updated October 11, 2026, lists the following hours. They are not an official casino schedule, so confirm before a late-night drive.
- Monday through Wednesday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. to midnight.
- Friday and Saturday: 24 hours.
- Bring identification: The minimum gambling age is 18. Carry valid government-issued photo ID.
- Ask about smoking: Confirm the current policy if smoke exposure would affect your visit.
- Check access and parking needs: Ask about accessible entrances, parking arrangements, and assistance before arriving.
- Arrange a safe ride: Organize return transportation in advance if you plan to drink.
- Separate travel and gambling money: Keep food, transportation, and cash-access fees outside the amount you are willing to gamble.
Comparing the listings and budgeting for a visit
The most useful source distinction is not which listing has the biggest machine count. The official page specifically describes the New FireLake, while the tourism information differs on inventory and address. For planning, I would use the official machine description and confirm schedule-dependent activities by phone.
Gamboool original analysis
We assembled the comparison below from published information and our calculations. These are selected examples, rather than measured gambling sessions or a representative survey.
| Detail | Published information |
|---|---|
| Officially described machine selection | The casino’s own page describes more than 480 reel, video reel, and video poker games; it does not publish individual wagers or paytables in the supplied text. |
| High-limit gaming amenity | The official casino page lists a High Limit Slots room, but the supplied passage gives no minimum wagers. |
| Tourism listing’s table-game selection | Visit Shawnee lists Blackjack, Three-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Flop Poker. This is a tourism-directory listing, not a current operating schedule or published rules sheet. |
| FireLake Bingo Parlor: Published weekly session frequency | Visit Shawnee describes eight weekly bingo sessions, without supplying session times, entry prices, or prize schedules. |
| Wireless internet amenity | Visit Shawnee categorizes the property as offering free Wi-Fi. |
| FireLake Casino bar: Third-party reported draft-beer price | Restaurantji reports draft beer at $3.00. Treat this as a provisional visitor-cost reference rather than a confirmed current menu price. |
| Third-party published opening hours | Restaurantji lists different weekday and weekend hours. These are directory hours rather than an official casino schedule, so late-night visitors should confirm them directly. |
| Visitor-reported complimentary refreshments | A January 2026 review reproduced by Wanderlog reports complimentary drinks and ice cream. This is a visitor account, not a published ongoing entitlement or a promise of complimentary alcohol. |
| Visitor-reported smoke policy | Wanderlog says the casino reportedly prohibits smoking inside. The qualified wording should be retained until an official policy is available. |
| Visitor comparison of the new and former locations | A December 2025 review reproduced by Wanderlog describes the new casino as smaller but upgraded and reports an indoor gift shop and café. This is an individual visitor’s comparison, not a measured floor-area comparison. |
| Calculation | Result | Takeaway |
|---|---|---|
| Illustrative draft-beer subtotal for two adults ordering one each | 6 US dollars, before any tax or tip | Use this only as a provisional drinks allowance, not a guaranteed current price. Confirm the bar’s menu before ordering, and keep transportation money separate. |

Method: Published inputs collected 2026-10-13. Illustrative assumptions are labeled, and the full calculation inputs remain in the saved research record. These examples support planning; they do not predict a particular session.
The illustrative drinks calculation uses a provisional third-party draft-beer price of $3.00. If two adults each order one, the subtotal is $6.00 before tax or tip. This is arithmetic based on a reported price, not a current menu quote. Confirm before ordering, and do not let a cheap drink become an excuse to expand the gambling budget.
Hot Rewards Club
FireLake identifies its players program as Hot Rewards Club. Its published promotion rules require membership and, for drawings, being present and having wagered that day to qualify. Enrollment alone is not enough, and the casino reserves the right to change or cancel promotions.
If you expect to return, ask which offers apply specifically to this property. Expiration dates, qualifying play, and attendance requirements matter more than the headline offer.
Who FireLake Casino suits
FireLake suits Shawnee-area slot and video poker players seeking a casual outing, with a high-limit slots room for those interested in larger wagers. Available guest comments repeatedly praise cleanliness and friendly service, although opinions differ on the newer game lineup and perceived gambling value. I would choose it for a straightforward gaming stop; visitors wanting a self-contained overnight trip with extensive dining and non-gambling activities should compare fuller-service properties, settle lodging arrangements before booking, and confirm hours before a late-night visit.
