Flights to Laughlin, Nevada
Whether you want to gamble, take in a show, or simply enjoy some sunshine, there a couple of flight package options available from several towns in the upper Midwest to Laughlin, Nevada.
These are convenient, affordable packages that include direct flights, transfers from the airport to your hotel, as well as lodging. They typically include a fun book with coupons at the casino, such as a coupon for a free pack of playing cards.
In other words, it’s all done for you: no booking flights with lay-overs, then searching for hotels, no having to figure out the Uber or taxi situation, etc.
With these fun flights to Laughlin, one fee covers everything (except your video poker losses and buffets).
About Laughlin, NV
For those not familiar with Laughlin, the small town on the banks of the Colorado River is a much smaller, more laid-back version of its Las Vegas cousin 97 miles to the north.
Laughlin has eight casinos. Most of these border the river, with a pleasant river-walk meandering atop the banks, connecting the resorts while offering views of the river and of Bullhead City, Arizona across the water.
Here you’ll find the typical array of Las Vegas style games, but in a more casual setting, without the high-limits and high prices of the Strip. There are poker games, keno, buffets and showrooms with name acts. A couple of the Laughlin casinos have bingo.
These flights, operated by Sun Country, land at the Laughlin/Bullhead City International Airport, (in Bullhead City, Arizona), which is just a two mile drive over the river into Laughlin.
Don Laughlin Flights
Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino is the main supplier of these fun flight packages.
The town founder’s namesake resort is the first one you see when coming into town. It has two hotel towers, with 1,400 rooms, a bowling center, buffet, 76,000 square foot casino, showroom, movie theater, and more.
There are two different swimming pools, including one just for adults.
It doesn’t resemble the Bellagio by any means, but it’s a nice getaway from the ordinary, especially during those Midwest winters. Plus, if you aren’t finding any luck on the slots at Riverside, there are plenty of other casinos a short walk away on the riverfront.
Flights are on a Sun Country 737 and depart from the following locations:
- Cedar Rapids, IA
- Rockford, IL
- Brainerd, MN
- St. Cloud, MN
- Fargo, ND
- Eau Claire, WI
These are 3 night stays, and the most current schedule can be found here: Don Laughlin Riverside Resort Flight Packages
Or you can call and make reservations at (866) 202-2293
Prices are subject to change, but were recently $559 per person from most locations, (St. Cloud and Eau Claire were $549 per person).
Either way, the price includes the round-trip airfare, ground transportation from the airport to Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino, and your hotel room.
There is a limit of two checked bags per person (and one carry-on), and they will even transport your checked luggage to your room. On the way back however, you must haul your bags from the room to the bus.
The tickets are non-refundable, and you have to be 21 years or older.
In the past there were flights from various cities in Texas (and some other locations), but those have yet to resume as of this 2022 update.
Harrah’s Laughlin Flights
Another company, called Fun Day Travel, has mostly Wisconsin departures, and is connected with Caesars Entertainment.
They offer direct flights to Laughlin from the following towns:
- Milwaukee
- Green Bay
- Madison
- Eau Claire
- La Crosse
- Midway (Chicago) IL.
- Rockford, IL.
- Minneapolis, MN.
With these packages, you stay at Harrah’s Laughlin (a Caesars Entertainment property), and it includes the round-trip airfare, ground transportation, and hotel stays.
Fun Day typically offers three or four flights a month. Prices aren’t listed on their website, but are based on your level of play on your Caesars Rewards card. In some cases, the package can be free.
However you don’t need to be a high-roller to enjoy this package. A call to Fun Day confirmed that the retail price of these packages, for those without any status with Caesars Rewards, is around $500 per person.
However if you have even a little previous play at Caesars properties, giving them your Caesars Rewards number when booking can save you $100 or more off of the flight, per the representative I spoke with.
You can get more information at their website here: Fun-Day.com And their phone number is: (920) 609-5321
As with the Don Laughlin Riverside Resort flights, we have no affiliation with Fun Day Travel.
