Plaza Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Parking Fee, Map & Valet 2023
The old school Plaza Hotel & Casino is a fun, affordable option that puts you just steps away from the heart of the Fremont Street action in downtown Las Vegas.
Parking fees have wormed their way into nearly casino in Las Vegas, however at least at the Plaza, self-parking is somewhat free for hotel guests.
I say “somewhat,” because it’s included in the nightly resort fee all hotel guests staying at the Plaza have to pay.
Non-hotel guests will have to pay self-parking fees, which will vary on the day. (More on that below).
Either way, parking here is pretty easy, as there is direct access to the multi-level garage right off Main Street. There are over 1,000 spaces in the garage, with more in the adjoining surface lots. It is, however, quite a walk to the front desk and northern part of the hotel/casino. I measured it to be .11 miles from the garage to the north hotel tower.
Plaza Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Parking Cost
Hotel Guest | Free |
Sunday – Thursday | $10 per day |
Friday & Saturday | $25 per day |
These are the standard rates, however daily parking jumps up higher on days the Plaza classifies as “Special Events.” In the past, this has been $10 higher than the weekend rate.
Special event pricing dates aren’t listed, however expect to pay this higher fee on New Year’s Eve, as well as 3 day weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day). I assume Super Bowl weekend is counted here as well.
Free Parking at the Plaza Casino in Downtown Las Vegas
Besides registered hotel guests, free self-parking is available to those at certain Plaza Rewards Card levels. There are four levels, and the highest two: the Silver or Gold level, entitle you to free self-parking.
Even better, there are special reserved garage spaces for Silver or Gold Plaza Rewards members.
In addition to higher rollers, those who dine at Oscar’s Steakhouse at the Plaza can get their parking validated. In fact, there are special spots for Oscar’s Steakhouse patrons. The Plaza says to ask the parking attendant about this when arriving.
Free parking validation is also available to those who play in the casino’s large Bingo room upstairs. Spending money at the casino/hotel’s fun Sand Dollar Downtown bar can get you validation as well, so be sure to ask your server.

Oversized Parking at the Plaza Las Vegas
Just to the left of the Plaza (south of the hotel), is a spacious outdoor parking lot that acts as the resort’s oversized parking lot.
According to the Plaza’s website, oversized parking fees apply to hotel guests and non-hotel guests alike, and are $20 daily.
Other
- For non-hotel guests: At the south entrance to the casino (at the bottom of the south elevators), you’ll find the self-parking pay kiosk.
You’ll scan the ticket you received when first arriving, and then pay for your parking with cash or credit card at the machine.
- Hold on to that ticket! Lost tickets are charged $20.
- Hotel guests will use their hotel room key for in-and-out access from the parking garage.
- If going to the Plaza’s Bingo Hall, you’ll can park on the third level for easy access, as the bingo room is on the 3rd floor.
- If for some reason the garage is full, there is parking available at Circa Resort’s Garage Mahal, just to the north of the Plaza.
