There are fifteen Targets in the Las Vegas area, including one new one right on the Las Vegas Strip.
Similar to the Walgreens and CVS stores found up and down the Strip, this Target is a convenient way to get water, snacks, aspirin or booze without paying the high prices you see in casino gift shops.
The Strip Target is located in the Showcase Mall, just a five minute walk north of MGM Grand and across Las Vegas Boulevard from Park MGM. A new pedestrian bridge across the Strip makes this Target just a five minute walk from Park MGM as well.
The clean, contemporary store has a Starbucks to the right when you walk in, along with a grocery store. They also sell wine, beer, hard seltzers and have an impressive display of all types of hard alcohol, including your rum, whiskey, vodka, tequila and all the mixers you’d need.
Las Vegas Strip Target Hours
|Sunday – Wednesday||7 AM to 10 PM|
|Thursday – Saturday||7 AM to Midnight|
Although they call this Target a “small store format” it’s actually pretty decent in size, with 20,000 square feet of retail space.
More than just a convenience store, this location also sells souvenirs, swimsuits, t-shirts, hats, makeup, along with everything from Gatorade to phone chargers to luggage and backpacks. Of course you’ll find everyday items like sunscreen, razors, shampoo, deodorant and the like.
As you walk in, to the left is the grocery section, which is stocked full of everything from fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, bananas and oranges) to less healthier fare, like donuts.
A little further back, the deli section offers packaged fresh fruits (watermelon, cantaloupe), along with a variety of grab-n-go foods, ranging from deli-sandwiches to pre-made salads, lunchables to fresh guacamole. You’ll also find yogurt parfaits, cups of carrots/celery, even whole cakes and slices of cheesecake.
Beyond that are isles full of tons of snacks, protein bars, chips, candy cookies and the like.

(Go here to find the Nearest grocery store to the Las Vegas Strip).
This Target store is two miles away at a strip mall called the Maryland Crossing Shopping Center.
To be exact, it is 2.1 miles east of the intersection of the Strip and Flamingo Road. Flamingo Road is of course, the intersection where you’ll find Bally’s, the Cromwell, the Bellagio, and Caesars Palace. It would take you around ten minutes to get to this Target from this part of the Strip. (Google maps shows it’s 2.8 miles from the middle of Caesars to this Target).
To get there, take the Las Vegas Strip to E. Flamingo Road, where you’ll head east. (For reference, Bally’s is on the east side of the Strip).
Continue on Flamingo Boulevard two miles to S. Maryland Parkway, where you’ll want to take a left (North). Alternatively, before you get to Maryland, you can take a left on an un-named road leading to the strip mall – they end up at the same place.
Once on Maryland Parkway, you’ll see the Target sign immediately on your left.

For those of you staying on the far south end of the Strip, there is another Target on Blue Diamond Road (4100 Blue Diamond Road).
This location is south and west of the Strip, and west of I-15. It’s the closest Target if you’re staying south of the Strip, at places like the South Point Hotel and Casino, or Tahiti Village.
Otherwise, the closest Target to most Strip hotels, (even South Strip properties) is still the main, Showcase Target store we mentioned above. The main exception being the Westgate Hotel and Casino, in which case the Maryland Parkway store is closer than the Showcase Target on the Strip.
