Palms Las Vegas Hotel Casino Shuttle to Strip
(Update: The Palms Hotel/Casino Shuttle service to the Strip ended permanently on September 30th, 2018. The Palms re-opened in April 2022 under new ownership, however it appears there is no shuttle service. Should it return, we will update this accordingly. Below is the original article about the shuttle).
The Palms Casino Resort provides to its guests a shuttle bus that runs from the resort to Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip and back.
The shuttle is free to hotel guests. And by “free” I mean it’s one of the amenities included in the daily resort fee added to your bill at the Palms. Unlike some other hotel shuttles, this bus is only for those of you staying at the Palms. Most of the time you will have to show your hotel room key to board.
You’ll get on the shuttle in the front valet area, next to the taxi cab line.
Palms To Strip Schedule
The Palms/Las Vegas Strip shuttle runs every half hour. The bus is scheduled to leave from the Palms on the hour and on the half hour.
Hours for the shuttle are as follows: 11 AM – 8 PM, seven days a week.
From the Palms, the shuttle makes only one stop: the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
Specifically, you’ll be dropped off at the valet area in front of the Forum Shops. This is a great center-strip location that will make it very easy for you to explore the Strip, whether you wish to walk around Caesars, head across the Strip to the Linq Promenade, or go south to the Bellagio.
The Forum Shops valet area where you are dropped off will be the same place you’ll hop on the shuttle when you want to return back to the Palms.
Keep in mind, this is the official schedule, but the shuttle can be late depending on traffic conditions on and around the Strip.
(The Palms is the red dot and the black dot represents the drop off point at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace).
Also note that while the Palms shuttle is free, it’s always courteous to tip the driver a buck or two.

Other Nearby Free Shuttles to the Strip
While the shuttle is small and doesn’t run too frequently, I suppose we can’t complain about a free service.

After all, the Palms’ neighbor up the street, the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, ended their long-running free shuttle to the Strip.
The Gold Coast, another casino directly across from the street, (across W. Flamingo Road), provided complimentary bus service to the Strip up to April 2022. However that service has been discontinued as well. Previously it left the Gold Coast to go to The Orleans, before stopping and dropping off passengers at The Linq Promenade.
Palms Airport Shuttle
The Palms Hotel and Casino does not offer a complimentary shuttle to or from McCarran International Airport.
There are numerous pay-for shuttles to the airport of course. These are usually slightly cheaper than taxi or ride sharing services, however keep in mind there are often several stops involved before getting to the airport.
Lyft and Uber rides from the Palms to McCarran run in the $12 to $15 range.
